Littlewood begins after the usual fantasy adventure has ended. The Dark Wizard is defeated and the world of Solemn is at peace, but its hero has lost their memories. Rather than setting out to defeat another villain, you build a town and meet people who may help you understand the past.
Town design is a practical part of the game. Place homes and other buildings, gather wood and ore, and fulfill residents’ requests about their surroundings. A character might prefer higher ground or a home near trees and water, giving you reasons to revise the layout as the community grows.
Farming, fishing, bug catching, cooking and crafting provide resources for those improvements. New residents unlock more structures, such as a tavern or library. Selling goods brings in Dewdrops, while exploration takes you to forests, fishing towns and mines outside your settlement.
There is also a collectible card game using monsters sealed into Tarott Cards. It provides another activity alongside the town’s daily work. Littlewood is a single-player choice for people who want village planning and relationships to be the main attraction, with small gathering trips supporting the place they build.
