Genshin Impact

Combat is built around teams of four characters and seven elemental powers: Pyro, Hydro, Electro, Anemo, Dendro, Cryo, and Geo. Combining elements creates reactions that affect attacks, defenses, exploration, and puzzle solving. Each character has different abilities, weapons, and team roles, so party selection and rotations shape how players handle encounters. Characters and weapons can be obtained through play and the Wishes system.

The game supports solo exploration and optional co-op. Players can travel through the world, complete quests, fight bosses, gather materials, improve characters, and take part in limited-time events. Exploration includes climbing, gliding, swimming, and fast travel between discovered locations. Character progression uses levels, weapons, artifacts, talents, and ascension materials collected from quests, domains, bosses, and the open world.

HoYoverse continues to add story chapters, locations, playable characters, bosses, events, and other activities through its version cycle. Genshin Impact is available on PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, iOS, and Android. Controls, performance, and platform features vary by device, while the same account can support progress across compatible platforms.
