Fish It! starts on Fisherman Island, where the shops, fishing spots, and docks introduce the game’s main activities. Catches give you fish to sell and entries to fill in the Fish Index. Coins go back into equipment and travel, helping you move beyond the starting shore instead of fishing in the same place throughout the game.

Casting and reeling use two different actions: charge the cast, then click rapidly to bring in a fish. Rods have separate Luck, Speed, and Weight stats. Bobbers add their own bonuses, while boats let you reach other islands and fish in the open ocean. Kohana has a separate volcanic fishing area, including a fisherman who gives out the free Lava Rod.
Fish Atelier names Fisch and Fishing Simulator as inspirations, but Fish It! is a separate Roblox experience. Its fishing controls and progression should not be confused with Fisch’s bar-following catch minigame. The beginner guide below explains the first catches and purchases; the Lava Rod guide covers the trip to Kohana and the free equipment unlock.
The September 2026 update description highlights the expanded Withering Core, six new pets, a pet egg, and a new Secret fish. It also lists the Forgotten Hydras and Elemental Expansion content. These are later update features, separate from the basic fishing, selling, and boat travel needed to get started.
