Landmarks offer placement challenges that reward more tiles, while portals summon friendly monsters that grant bonuses when placed in their preferred habitats. The standard Fangtopia mode is designed for quicker sessions. Ghoulish mode adds rivers, tile swapping, larger grouped pieces and a bigger stack for longer, harder runs.
