Exploration takes you into caves and other areas as the story progresses. Spells and tools help you gather materials, but the caves also contain hostile jumbles to fight. The bright setting does not make every activity peaceful, so players looking only for decoration should know that combat is part of progression.
The island’s residents offer friendships and romance, including dates and marriage. Your home can become more comfortable through furnishings, and the story progresses independently of the in-game calendar. Seasonal changes affect the surroundings without turning the main story into a race against a particular date.
You can play solo or build a shared farm with up to three other players. Online play requires an account, while solo play does not require that multiplayer account setup. Fae Farm is a fit for people who want a farm they can develop together and a magical adventure beyond its fences.
