Palworld is a creature-collecting survival game developed and published by Pocketpair. The main game combines exploration, base building, crafting, combat, and production with creatures called Pals. Players can capture Pals, assign them to work at a base, use them in battles, and rely on them for traversal. The game launched into early access before reaching version 1.0 on July 10, 2026.
The franchise has expanded beyond the original survival game. The official Palworld Card Game launched on July 30, 2026, adding deck construction, battles, and physical card products built around the same creatures. Pocketpair also licensed Palworld Online, a separately developed mobile MMORPG announced with Garena. That project is planned to include Pals, shared bases, cooperative play, player-versus-player features, and a 2026 release window.
Other announced spin-offs include Palfarm and Pal♡world!, which place the same creature cast in different game formats. Pals remain the common link across survival gameplay, card battles, mobile online play, and the smaller genre variations. Their designs, elemental abilities, work skills, and movement abilities can be adapted to different rules without requiring every project to copy the main game's survival structure.
Pocketpair develops and publishes the original Palworld. Partner announcements identify separately licensed projects and the companies responsible for them. This distinction separates the main survival game from products developed for physical cards, mobile devices, or other genres while keeping them inside the same franchise.
