Saturday Night Live is adding two featured players for season 52: Saidah Belo-Osagie and Grace Reiter. The new season opens on September 26 with Jalen Brunson as host and KATSEYE as musical guest.
Who are the two new cast members?
Belo-Osagie is a comedian from Queens, New York. She wrote and directed the short film Tinge and created the event series Afrobeats Futura and the solo show Saidah Gets Closure.
Reiter is a comedian from Chippewa Falls, Wisconsin. Her credits include The Chair Company and the upcoming series Minimum Wage, which she also wrote and directed. NBC lists both performers as featured players, a cast designation separate from the weekly guest host.
The first four hosts and musical guests
September 26: Jalen Brunson hosts the season premiere, with KATSEYE performing. The New York Knicks player is making his first appearance as SNL host.
October 3: Dakota Johnson hosts with Turnstile. Johnson returns for her third hosting appearance, the day after her film Verity opens in theaters. Turnstile makes its debut as the musical guest.
October 10: Shane Gillis hosts for a third time, with Rosalía performing. It will be Rosalía’s second appearance as musical guest.
October 31: Inde Navarrette makes her hosting debut, joined by Gracie Abrams. SNL is scheduled to take two weeks off after the October 10 episode before returning on Halloween.

SNL airs on NBC at 11:30 p.m. Eastern and streams live on Peacock. Lorne Michaels remains the show's creator and executive producer. The guest lineup and dates above are the first four episodes NBC has announced for the new season.
