Outer Banks Season 5 is streaming now on Netflix. The fifth and final season arrived on Thursday, August 20, and all ten episodes are available at once. If you were waiting for the launch window, the expected Netflix schedule put the season online at 12 a.m. Pacific Time, 3 a.m. Eastern, or 2 a.m. Central. now tells viewers to dive into all ten episodes, while lists the standard Netflix clock and international times.
That makes this a much simpler launch than the final season’s build-up. There is no second batch to wait for and no weekly countdown hanging over the Pogues’ last mission. The whole ending is sitting in Netflix’s library now.
When Outer Banks Season 5 went live
Netflix Tudum confirms the August 20 premiere date, but Netflix’s official announcement does not give a separate clock time. TechRadar’s schedule follows the streamer’s usual release pattern, so these are the times fans were expected to see the episodes appear:
United States and Canada: 12 a.m. PT / 3 a.m. ET (2 a.m. CT)
United Kingdom: 8 a.m. BST
India: 12:30 p.m. IST
Singapore: 3 p.m. SGT
Australia: 5 p.m. AEST
New Zealand: 7 p.m. NZST
If the season still shows a countdown on your device, restarting the Netflix app or refreshing the browser is the sensible first move. Release pages can take a moment to update across different devices, even after the catalog has changed on the service itself.
All 10 episodes are available together
Outer Banks Season 5 is a complete binge from day one. The Netflix Media Center lists the season as 10 one-hour episodes, and Tudum now describes all ten as available. There is no weekly rollout and no Part 1/Part 2 split for this final chapter.
That is useful to know if you stopped following the release news after Season 4’s split schedule. You can watch one episode, save the rest for the weekend, or let one “quick episode” turn into an all-night Pogue marathon. Netflix is not holding the finale back for another date.

Where to watch the final season
The only place to stream the new episodes is Netflix. Search for Outer Banks in the Netflix app or on the web, then choose Season 5 from the show page. Tudum is useful for trailers, interviews, and recaps, but the episodes themselves play through Netflix’s normal catalog.
If you are watching with friends, it is worth agreeing on a spoiler plan before opening social media. Ten episodes landing at once means the conversation can move quickly, especially around the final hour. The show’s official page is already presenting the season as the end of the Pogues’ story, so even a headline or thumbnail can give away more than you want to know.
What to remember before you press play
Season 4 ended with JJ dead in Morocco after his father, Chandler Groff, attacked him. John B, Sarah, Kiara, Pope, and Cleo were left grieving, without the Blue Crown, and far from the home they were trying to protect. Netflix’s spoiler-filled Season 4 refresher lays out the events that push the final season toward revenge.
Groff is still at large, Dalia and the Corsairs are closing in, and the Kooks are trying to make sure the Pogues have nowhere to return to. Rafe is also pulled into an uneasy alliance with the group. You do not need every treasure clue memorized to start Season 5, but JJ’s death and the loss of the Blue Crown are the two pieces that shape everything around the new episodes.
For the larger cast and story setup, Pixel Twelve’s Outer Banks Season 5 release guide covers the final-season context. Our trailer breakdown goes further into Rafe’s role and the revenge mission, so save that page for after you are comfortable with spoilers.
This really is the final Pogue run
Netflix calls Season 5 the fifth and final season, and its official series listing gives the format as ten one-hour episodes. There is no Season 6 announced. The practical question is no longer when the Pogues come back; it is whether the last ten episodes can give the group a future that feels bigger than another escape. The official Season 5 page frames this as one last ride, with the group trying to avenge JJ and reclaim a life together.
You can take the season at your own speed now. Binge it tonight, stretch it across the weekend, or wait until your friends are ready. Just know that the full goodbye is already out there—and the internet is going to talk about it fast.
Netflix’s Aug. 10–16 Top 10 report keeps My Life With the Walter Boys Season 3 at No. 1 on the English-language TV chart and shows The Last House climbing on the film list.
Lanterns Season 2 is already part of the creative conversation, with Chris Mundy reportedly exploring new stories. HBO has not renewed the DC series, so here is what the early talk actually means.
The Sons of Anarchy cast is reuniting for FX’s Legends, a limited meta-thriller about actors facing a real-world threat at a fan convention. It is not a direct revival.
Breaking Bad’s Season 4 finale, “Face Off,” is coming to select Alamo Drafthouse theaters for one night on September 7, 2026, as part of Breaking Bad Day.
