Who is Rabbi Eden?
Rabbi Eden teaches Joanne’s class and supports Joanne and Noah as they work through their relationship. Kristen Bell returns as Joanne, and Adam Brody returns as Noah. Joanne’s decision to explore Judaism now involves someone outside the couple and their families.
Who is Sebastien?
Sebastien is another person Joanne meets in class. Netflix calls him her nemesis, but has not explained what causes the rivalry. Keyla Monterroso Mejia also joins the class as Amber, a single woman hoping to find a Jewish husband.
Who else is new in Season 3?
Series creator Erin Foster appears as Nicole, a woman Netflix describes as a chaotic version of Joanne’s past self. Avan Jogia, Poorna Jagannathan, Sadie Sandler, Stephanie Koenig and Steven Weber also join the guest cast. Netflix has named their characters but has not said how many episodes each will appear in.
