Crystal Lake Cast Guide: Who Plays Pamela, Jason and the Town Police?

Crystal Lake premieres October 15 on Peacock with all eight episodes available at once. The Friday the 13th prequel focuses on Pamela Voorhees before the original 1980 film. Linda Cardellini plays Pamela, and the first-look photos now put faces to several other people in the town.

Who plays Pamela and Jason?

Linda Cardellini is Pamela Voorhees, a camp worker and mother whose young son Jason drowns at Crystal Lake. Callum Vinson plays young Jason. The series follows Pamela after the tragedy, while strange deaths and police searches unsettle the town. The trailer has already shown parts of that story; these cast photos help viewers recognize the people around her.

Who are the new characters?

William Catlett plays Levon Brooks, a local police officer. Cameron Scoggins plays Dorf, another officer who works with him. Peacock also identifies Devin Kessler as Brianna and Gwendolyn Sundstrom as Grace. Grace appears beside Pamela in one official photo, but Peacock has not explained their relationship.

Brad Caleb Kane created the series and serves as its writer and showrunner. The photos place the police, camp and Pamela in the same small community. That is useful for a prequel: the audience knows the name Voorhees, but most of the people investigating what happens at Crystal Lake are new to the screen.
