D23 2026 is bringing a selection of panels and presentations to Disney+, so fans do not need to be in Anaheim to watch everything on the official streaming list. The event runs from Friday, August 14, through Sunday, August 16, with livestreams spread across all three days.

The important catch: Friday night’s Disney Entertainment Showcase is not included in the confirmed Disney+ schedule. That is the presentation expected to carry the largest film and series announcements. Unless Disney adds it later, viewers at home should not expect an official livestream of that showcase.

Is D23 2026 streaming on Disney+?

Yes, but only selected D23 programs are confirmed for Disney+. Disney says the listed streams will be available globally. The announcement does not require a D23 event ticket or D23 membership for the online broadcasts, although normal Disney+ access rules still apply.

Several presentations are live, while two programs will arrive as recorded versions. Disney has not announced how long the live events will remain available for replay, so watching at the scheduled time is the safest choice.

This is the only Friday presentation on the official Disney+ list. It celebrates 35 years of Disney’s animated Beauty and the Beast.

  • Percy Jackson and the Olympians Season 3 panel — live at 3:30 p.m. PT / 6:30 p.m. ET.
  • Disney Rewind Encore Concert — live at 6:30 p.m. PT / 9:30 p.m. ET.
  • Horizons: Disney Experiences Showcase — live at 7 p.m. PT / 10 p.m. ET.

Horizons is the presentation to watch for Disney Parks, cruise, and other experiences news. It is separate from Friday’s Disney Entertainment Showcase, which focuses on movies and series.

Sunday, August 16 streams

  • Disney Princess: The Ultimate Concert Celebration — recorded at Disneyland Resort and released on Disney+ on Sunday. Disney has not listed a specific time.
  • Disney Worldbuilders panel — live at 10:15 a.m. PT / 1:15 p.m. ET. The panel includes Jared Bush, Pete Docter, Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, and Kevin Feige, with Leslie Iwerks moderating.
  • 2026 Disney Legends Award Ceremony — the recorded ceremony begins streaming at 6 p.m. PT / 9 p.m. ET.

The Disney Legends ceremony takes place at the Honda Center earlier on Sunday and is then released as a recording. This year’s honorees include Anne Hathaway, Dwayne Johnson, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Alan Tudyk, the Jonas Brothers, and former Disney CEO Bob Iger.

Will the Disney Entertainment Showcase stream online?

Not according to the schedule published on August 10. The Disney Entertainment Showcase begins Friday, August 14, at 7 p.m. PT at the Honda Center, but it does not appear among the confirmed Disney+ broadcasts.

Disney describes the in-person show as a night of first looks, film and series announcements, celebrity appearances, and performances. That makes it the most likely home for major studio news, but Disney has not named the individual movies or shows that will appear.

Fans following Avengers: Doomsday, Toy Story 5, Star Wars, Pixar, and other Disney projects should treat online rumors as guesses until an announcement comes from the stage or an official studio account.

How to watch from home

  • Open Disney+ shortly before the scheduled start time.
  • Search for D23 if the event collection is not visible on the home screen.

The simplest viewing plan

For movie and TV fans, the Worldbuilders panel on Sunday brings several of Disney’s biggest creative leaders together. Princess fans have the recorded concert on Sunday, Percy Jackson viewers have a live cast panel on Saturday, and Parks fans get the full Horizons showcase on Saturday night.

For the Friday Entertainment Showcase, the current plan is different: follow official Disney, Marvel, Pixar, and Star Wars channels for individual announcements, trailers, and images after they are released. If Disney adds a stream, the official D23 schedule will be the first place to confirm it.
