Overview
Mousetrap is a South Korean mystery thriller directed by Kim Hong-sun and written by Lee Jae-gon, based on the webtoon Field Mouse. Ryu Jun-yeol plays Je Moon-jae, a novelist whose private routine ends when someone takes his identity. Sul Kyung-gu plays Noja, the loan shark who wants to recover money connected to the writer. Lee Kyoo-hyung plays detective Park Sun-yong. The complete ten-episode limited series premiered on Netflix on August 28, 2026. Episodes run from 49 to 64 minutes. Netflix offers the original Korean dialogue, English subtitles and an English dub in the US. The US rating is TV-MA. The story contains bloody violence and distressing deaths. The central investigation involves identity theft, money and conflicting accounts of the characters’ pasts.
