Overview
Four Hands, Two Sonatas is a Korean coming-of-age music drama set at an elite arts high school. Song Kang plays Kang Pi-o, a perfectionist piano prodigy whose confidence hides pressure and anxiety. Lee Jun-young plays Choi Jeong-yo, a late-blooming pianist whose warmth and instinctive talent challenge Pi-o’s controlled approach to music. Jang Gyu-ri plays violist Hong Jae-in, the third principal musician and the person who brings the two pianists together. The trio’s story moves through love, friendship, rivalry, and artistic growth. Netflix credits Park Hyeon-seok and Shin Yee-won as the creators. The series premiered globally on Netflix and on tvN in South Korea on August 29, 2026. tvN schedules new episodes on Saturdays and Sundays at 9:10 p.m. KST. Netflix labels the production a limited series, but the official consumer pages have not yet published a total episode count or finale date.
