Overview
Dark Matter follows Chicago physicist Jason Dessen after he is abducted into an alternate version of his own life. His attempt to return home forces him through different realities created by the Box, a device that turns possible choices into places people can enter. Season 2 begins after Jason reunites with Daniela and Charlie. Their new life is threatened as Jason returns to the Box, Amanda and Ryan search for a way home, and Leighton pursues his idea of a perfect world. The series is based on Blake Crouch’s novel and is produced by Sony Pictures Television for Apple TV.
