Blue Eye Samurai

Blue Eye Samurai follows Mizu, a mixed-race master of the sword who hides her identity while hunting the men connected to her birth. The adult animated series begins in Edo-period Japan and combines a personal revenge story with court politics, sword fights, and the consequences of Mizu's relationship with the Divine Four. Season 2 moves the hunt to London in January 2027, while Akemi, Taigen, and Ringo face separate problems in Japan. Netflix has confirmed that Season 3, planned for 2028, will be the final season. Amber Noizumi and Michael Green created the series, Jane Wu serves as supervising director and producer, and Blue Spirit produces the animation. Maya Erskine voices Mizu, with Brenda Song, Darren Barnet, and Masi Oka returning as Akemi, Taigen, and Ringo.
