The Twilight Saga: New Moon

Edward withdraws from Bella’s life because he believes their relationship puts her at risk. Her friendship with Jacob deepens while his own secret changes what she knows about the dangers around Forks. The story also expands beyond the Cullen family to the Volturi, an influential vampire coven.

New Moon is the second film, following Twilight and preceding Eclipse. It adapts Stephenie Meyer’s second novel and gives Jacob a larger role in Bella’s story.

Directed by Chris Weitz from a screenplay by Melissa Rosenberg. The U.S. theatrical release was November 20, 2009. The theatrical runtime is 130 minutes.

The returning cast includes Kristen Stewart as Bella Swan, Robert Pattinson as Edward Cullen, Taylor Lautner as Jacob Black, Ashley Greene as Alice Cullen, Nikki Reed as Rosalie Hale, and Peter Facinelli as Carlisle Cullen.
