The Mandalorian and Grogu

The Mandalorian and Grogu is a Lucasfilm Star Wars feature directed, co-written and produced by Jon Favreau. It continues the story of Din Djarin, the Mandalorian bounty hunter, and Grogu, his Force-sensitive companion, after their journey began on Disney+. Their new mission unfolds as scattered Imperial warlords remain a threat and the emerging New Republic works to protect the peace won by the Rebellion.

Pedro Pascal returns as Din Djarin, with Sigourney Weaver and Jeremy Allen White joining the cast. Favreau, Kathleen Kennedy, Dave Filoni and Ian Bryce are credited as producers, and Ludwig Göransson composed the music.

The film opened in theaters on May 22, 2026 and is now available digitally, on 4K Ultra HD and on Disney+. Although it grows from the television story, this is a distinct theatrical film rather than another season of The Mandalorian or a general Star Wars franchise page.
