Superman: Man of Tomorrow

Superman: Man of Tomorrow is an upcoming DC Studios theatrical film written and directed by James Gunn. David Corenswet returns as Superman and Nicholas Hoult returns as Lex Luthor, with Lars Eidinger set to play Brainiac. Rachel Brosnahan, Skyler Gisondo, Sara Sampaio, Isabela Merced, Nathan Fillion, and Edi Gathegi are also returning from the new DCU’s Superman cast, while the story is expected to place Superman and Lex in an uneasy alliance against a larger threat. Principal photography wrapped in August 2026. DC has set the film for July 9, 2027, and has not announced a trailer or streaming date.
