Way of the Hunter 2

The game features two large hunting grounds: New Laurentia in North America and Kilimaya Reserve in Africa. Players track wildlife, train a hunting dog, manage herds and habitats, analyze shots, build trophy displays, and complete story-driven challenges. The full launch is planned to add several multiplayer modes, with the PS5 edition supporting up to four online players.

Your dog can find animal signs, follow blood trails, and locate wounded game, improving with exercise and training. After a shot, Shot Review shows the bullet’s trajectory, speed, angle, and placement so you can examine what happened. Each reserve also has a lodge where you plan hunts, unlock upgrades, and arrange wall-mounted or floor-standing trophy displays.

Tents provide portable bases for fast travel, changing the time, and waiting out bad weather. Managing a reserve also means repairing bridges, maintaining feeders, restoring habitats, removing pollution, and clearing invasive species. Those activities sit alongside herd management, where your hunting choices affect future animal populations.
