About the game
Way of the Hunter 2 is an open-world hunting simulation developed by Nine Rocks Games and published by THQ Nordic. It entered PC Early Access on March 26, 2026, and reaches version 1.0 on September 29, 2026, alongside its PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S release. The game features two large hunting grounds: New Laurentia in North America and Kilimaya Reserve in Africa. Players track wildlife, train a hunting dog, manage herds and habitats, analyze shots, build trophy displays, and complete story-driven challenges. The full launch is planned to add several multiplayer modes, with the PS5 edition supporting up to four online players.
