Asch and Finé set out to stop the Lightfall, a calamity that kills everything it touches. Guided by an astral ordinance to save many people, Asch joins Finé and her guard Diana in a mission to defeat the mysterious provitons believed to be sources of the disaster. Kross, a gunner from the Lysrian City Guards, also joins the journey.
