Pokémon UNITE is a free-to-start five-on-five team battle game. Players choose a Pokémon, divide between lanes and central paths, defeat wild Pokémon to grow stronger, contest major map objectives, and score Aeos energy in the opposing team’s goal zones before time expires. The roster is organized around Attacker, Defender, Speedster, Supporter, and All-Rounder roles. Held items, battle items, move choices, team composition, positioning, and objective timing all shape a match. Regular seasons add playable Pokémon, Holowear, events, ranked updates, balance changes, and Battle Pass rewards. Pokémon UNITE is developed by TiMi Studio Group and published by The Pokémon Company. It first launched for Nintendo Switch on July 21, 2021, followed by iOS and Android on September 22, 2021. Switch and mobile players can battle together, and a linked Pokémon Trainer Club account or Nintendo Account can carry progress across supported devices. The game requires an internet connection.
