Ooblets combines farm work with collecting small creatures that grow from seeds. Tend your land, expand your home and get to know the residents of Badgetown. Your ooblet companions can follow you around, help with farming and take part in dance battles.

Those battles use cards rather than attacks. Building a team and choosing dance moves gives creature collecting a strategic purpose, while winning helps you obtain more seeds. You can also dress your companions and look for different varieties.
Outside the farm, the story sends you through distinct regions, from a seaside arcade area to swamps, deserts and snowy peaks. Rebuilding Badgetown and helping its residents unlock more activities. A player-run shop adds stocking shelves, decorating and selling the goods you grow or craft.
Ooblets has a story ending, but farming and collecting can continue afterward. Seasonal events and minigames give you other reasons to return. It is a solo game for players who like an eccentric town and creature collection alongside their crops; dance battles still ask you to make tactical decisions rather than simply watching an animation.
