Mortal Shell II

Mortal Shell II is a standalone action RPG from Cold Symmetry and Playstack. It expands the body-swapping combat of the first game into a compact, interconnected open world filled with more than 60 dungeons, hidden weapons, upgrades, and eight playable warrior Shells. Each Shell has its own abilities and memories. Players can move between them to change combat styles, then combine those strengths with sidearms and deeper weapon upgrades. Combat is no longer restricted by a stamina bar, putting more pressure on timing, posture breaks, and aggressive follow-ups. Mortal Shell II launches August 20, 2026, on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. The digital Devout Edition includes up to 72 hours of advanced access beginning August 17 and an Obsidian skin set for all eight Shells. A free open beta is available on all three launch platforms.
