Game Overview
Luma Island starts with an old caravan and a neglected farm. Players can plant crops, raise animals, decorate their home and meet people around the island. There are eight professions to try, including activities that send you away from the farm. You can also hatch Lumas, small magical companions that travel with you. It is a farming game, but there is plenty to do if you prefer exploring.

The island has forests, mountains, jungles, caves, temples and a pirate cove. Caves have resources to collect, while temples have puzzles and traps. Some days you can stay home and fish or build. On others, you can take tools and supplies out to look for treasure. There is no stamina bar or inventory limit. Feel Free Games offers three settings: Cozy, Adventure and Hero. Cozy has no combat unless you choose it; the other two modes add more challenge.
Luma Island launched on PC on November 20, 2024. The developer announced a PlayStation 5 version on September 24, 2026, but has not announced its PS5 release date. Players can wishlist it on PlayStation Store now. You can play alone or with up to four people online. The developer says PS5, Xbox Series X|S and PC crossplay is planned, so friends on those platforms will be able to share an island when that support is live. Check each platform's listing for availability rather than assuming the PS5 version has launched.
