Lufia I & II: The Sinistrals Saga

Lufia I & II: The Sinistrals Saga is a collection of the first two Lufia role-playing games. It includes Lufia & the Fortress of Doom, which follows a new hero and Lufia as the ancient Sinistrals begin to return, and Lufia II: Rise of the Sinistrals, a prequel centered on Maxim, Selan, Guy and Artea. The two games use turn-based battles, party progression and connected stories, while Lufia II adds puzzle-heavy dungeons and tools used outside combat. TAITO announced the collection during the PC Gaming Show Tokyo Direct on September 20, 2026. It is scheduled for release in 2027 on PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch and Windows PC through Steam. The official screenshots preserve the original pixel art. TAITO says the games are being prepared for modern play, but a complete list of enhancements, an exact release date, pricing and physical-edition plans have not been announced.
