About the game
Gothic Classic brings the original 2001 RPG to PlayStation and Xbox consoles. Players control the Nameless Hero after he is thrown into a mining colony sealed behind a magical barrier, where rival camps control the ore and survival depends on reputation, alliances, and careful exploration. The console edition released July 28, 2026, for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S. It is the classic game rather than Gothic 1 Remake, preserving the original world and progression while adding modern console support.
