Revelations sends the Doom Slayer into a frozen corner of Hell and an earlier conflict tied to the demons' past. Purgatory acts as the hub for six new levels, while the Chain Spear changes close-range fights by pulling enemies, breaking defenses, and opening brief attack windows. New demon types are built around those mechanics instead of simply repeating the base game's encounters. Ripatorium 3.0 also expands the combat arena for players who want to test weapons and enemy combinations outside the campaign path. Bethesda released the expansion on July 7, 2026 for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
