Underwater trips involve a harpoon, other equipment and a limited supply of oxygen. Carrying fish and collected objects adds another limit to a dive. Upgrades make the equipment more useful and prepare Dave for deeper waters, but he still has to bring the catch back safely. The diving clip below shows Dave moving between the Blue Hole’s underwater cliffs.
At Bancho Sushi, the work changes to choosing dishes and serving customers. Restaurant earnings help pay for better diving equipment and hired staff. The gallery’s restaurant screenshot shows the menu, ingredients and staff controls together; the next short clip connects the boat, underwater trip and restaurant in one view of the game’s main loop.
The Blue Hole has changing underwater terrain and marine life, while Dave’s friends draw him into the mystery beneath it. Side activities include underwater photography, seahorse racing and farming, adding new activities alongside the diving-and-restaurant cycle.
The full game launched on June 28, 2023, for Windows PC and macOS, after its earlier early-access period. Nintendo Switch, PlayStation and Xbox versions followed, with a separate Switch 2 edition also available. This profile keeps the original full-release date rather than using a later console launch or an expansion date.
