Your Personal Taxi arrives on October 1, 2026, with Cha Tae-hyun at the wheel of a classic cab. FOD’s Japanese release puts all eight episodes out together. Netflix also has a South Korean listing, but that does not confirm the same release in every country.
Release date and where to watch
In Japan, FOD announced the full season for 8 p.m. JST on October 1. Its Japanese title is 個人的なタクシー. The Netflix South Korea listing uses the English title Your Personal Taxi and the Korean title 개인적인 택시.
A US Netflix release has not been confirmed in the sources checked for this article. Check the title in your local Netflix catalog before making plans to watch. The FOD launch time applies to Japan; no exact Netflix release hour has been verified.

A different story on each ride
The setup has two simple rules: the cab takes advance bookings from regular customers, and it plays the music they request during the ride. A song gives each passenger a way into a story they may have kept to themselves.
The stories range from reunions with former partners to sleepless nights, family ties and memories of youth. They share a driver and a cab rather than one long case to solve. Lee Mose’s Naver webtoon is the starting point for the adaptation.
The main cast
Cha Tae-hyun plays Driver Go. Lee Jae-in is Yeon-woo, an amusement-park costume worker; Im Se-mi plays the runner Gye-hyang; and Joo Jong-hyuk plays Chang-sik, a DJ who likes vinyl records. Fuji Television and BIGINSQUARE co-produced the drama with Studio Flow; Netflix lists Jeon Chang-geun, Min Dong-hyun and Kim Jun-mo as its creators.

Its music festival debut
OSEN’s September 8 report covered the drama’s invitation to the 22nd Jecheon International Music & Film Festival. FOD later confirmed that it was the festival’s first invited drama series and that Cha Tae-hyun joined a screening talk.
The festival also brought the episode “Running” into the streets. Im Se-mi and Kwak Yoon-gy joined ten local participants for a five-kilometer morning run. The event tied the episode’s subject to a shared activity with its audience.
Cha Tae-hyun described the mix of warmth and humor in the series. In OSEN’s report, he said, translated from Korean:
“I hope it brings comfort and joy to many people.”
