Tokyo Revengers: War of the Three Titans Arc has a new trailer and key visual, and both put Takemichi Hanagaki and Manjiro “Mikey” Sano on a collision course. The anime's next chapter begins in Japan on October 2, with Disney+ set to stream it worldwide outside mainland China.
The footage is the fourth promotional video for the arc. It gives the 2026 sequel a specific premiere date, previews JO1's opening song “IGNITE,” and shows Takemichi going back into the past to try to save Mikey. That is a much more direct setup than the earlier announcement trailers, which mainly established the arc and its new factions.
The new visual turns Takemichi and Mikey into opponents
The new key visual is built around a simple image: Takemichi stands in front with one fist raised, while Mikey appears behind him in the uniform of the Kanto Manji Gang. They have spent most of the anime fighting on the same side, so the composition immediately shows how far the story has moved from the original Tokyo Manji Gang.
The official announcement does not give away the full fight, but it does describe the visual as Takemichi facing Mikey. The trailer follows that idea with a more hostile mood than the previous seasons. The characters are not just being separated by another time jump; Takemichi has to decide how much of the past he is willing to change to reach his friend.
Takemichi is going back to save Mikey
Tokyo Revengers follows Takemichi, a young man who discovers that he can travel back twelve years and uses that ability to prevent the deaths connected to the Tokyo Manji Gang. The new arc starts after the story has already reached a future where Hinata Tachibana is alive, but Mikey remains trapped in a violent path.
The official fourth PV summarizes the next move plainly: Takemichi returns to the past to save Mikey. That gives the arc a clear goal even for viewers who have not read the manga. He is not trying to become the strongest fighter in the room. He is trying to change the chain of decisions that turned his closest friend into the person he now has to confront.
The title refers to the period of the story shaped by three major powers in Tokyo's underworld. The anime has not released a complete episode-by-episode breakdown, so the trailer is still the safest guide to what the adaptation will show first.
Four new voices join the conflict
The arc's cast includes four characters tied to the three-power conflict. Naoyuki Shimozuru voices Takeomi Akashi, Shinnosuke Tachibana voices Wakasa Imaushi, Takanori Hoshino voices Keizo Arashi, and Hiroki Yasumoto voices South Terano.
The official cast announcement identifies Akashi, Imaushi, and Arashi as members of Brahman, one of the groups within the Three Titans. It identifies South as the leader of Rokuhara Tandai, another of the major factions. Mikey's Kanto Manji Gang completes the three-sided pressure surrounding Takemichi's mission.
Those names matter because they show that the next season is not only a rematch between two familiar characters. Takemichi and Mikey are the emotional center, but the new gang leaders give the conflict its scale and force the story to move through several competing loyalties.
JO1's “IGNITE” leads the new opening
JO1 performs “IGNITE,” the opening theme used in the new trailer. The song is the first piece of the new season's music that the public can hear in full promotional footage, and it plays over scenes of Takemichi preparing for another fight with Mikey's side of the story.
LIDEN FILMS returns to animate the series. Maki Kodaira directs, Yasuyuki Muto handles series composition, and Kenichi Onuki, Keiko Ota, Airi Tsuyuki, and Kanae Takakura handle character design work. Hiroaki Tsutsumi returns for the music. The production team is therefore largely connected to the existing anime rather than being presented as a replacement for the earlier staff.

War of the Three Titans Arc premieres in Japan on October 2, 2026. The official schedule lists the series for the MBS, TBS, and CBC Animeism block, with additional broadcasts on BS-TBS and AT-X. Disney+ will carry the arc as a worldwide subscription-streaming exclusive outside mainland China.
The Japanese schedule gives local broadcast times, but the official page does not list a separate release hour for every international market. Viewers outside Japan should check Disney+'s local listing closer to October 2 rather than assuming that the Japanese midnight slot will match their own time zone.
What the trailer still leaves open?
The trailer confirms the central rescue mission, the October premiere, the new opening theme, and the confrontation shown in the key visual. It does not confirm the episode count, the length of the adaptation, or how much of Ken Wakui's remaining manga story will fit into this broadcast run.
That uncertainty is normal for a seasonal anime announcement, but it gives the next update a clear job. A full episode count, a longer story synopsis, or another character trailer would show how the anime plans to handle the Three Titans conflict after the long wait since the previous televised arc.
