The anime page describes two parts to the session: a screening of the opening 20 minutes and an appearance by anime staff. Kenta Suzuki is the only panel guest named in the current listing. Comic Con Africa itself runs September 24–27 at the same venue, so the screening falls inside the four-day convention.
Why do some announcements say September 27?
CyberAgent’s September 8 press release says the Johannesburg session is Sunday, September 27. That conflicts with both the live official anime event page and the official 9/26 event card distributed with the release. The World Tour index also lists September 26.
Pixel Twelve is using September 26 because it is repeated across the current event page, tour index and artwork, but the mismatch is unresolved. Anyone attending should recheck the official Kagurabachi tour page and the Comic Con Africa program close to the event. The anime page also warns that event details may change or be canceled.
When is the PAX Aus screening?
The Melbourne session is listed for Sunday, October 11, from 10:30 to 11:30 AM AEDT in Quokka Theater at MCEC. Unlike the Johannesburg listing, the anime event page, event card and CyberAgent release all agree on this date and time.
PAX Aus runs October 9–11, and the official event site lists Sunday hours from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. That places Kagurabachi near the start of the final day. The announced one-hour slot is longer than the footage itself, leaving room for the producer appearance, but no detailed panel agenda has been published.
Do you need a badge or a separate reservation?
For PAX Aus, the official FAQ says attendees need the relevant single-day or three-day badge. Panels are first come, first served and may be capped when a theater reaches capacity. The Kagurabachi listing does not advertise a separate reservation or guaranteed seat.
Comic Con Africa’s Kagurabachi page does not state a separate reservation policy. It also does not say that the screening is included with every ticket. Attendees should use the convention’s current program and ticket guidance instead of assuming the PAX rules apply in Johannesburg.
What will the Kagurabachi preview include?
The confirmed material is the first 20 minutes of Episode 1, the same length used at the earlier World Tour stops. That is a partial episode, not the complete premiere. The announcement does not say whether the opening or ending sequence is included, where the preview stops in the story, or whether any footage differs from earlier screenings.
No livestream, replay or online release has been announced for either session. PAX says some of its largest theaters are streamed, but the FAQ does not identify this Quokka Theater screening as one of them. Fans outside the conventions should not treat a general PAX streaming policy as confirmation.
