Prime Video released trailers for Reacher Season 4 and its new spinoff, Neagley, with a schedule designed to move viewers directly from one show into the other. Reacher returns August 12 with three episodes. The remaining episodes arrive weekly, and the season finale lands September 16.
That same day, Prime Video releases all eight episodes of Neagley. Viewers can finish Reacher Season 4 and immediately start Maria Sten's new series without waiting another week. The two shows are connected, but they are not one continuous season.
How the Reacher and Neagley Schedule Works
Season 4 adapts Lee Child's 13th Reacher novel, Gone Tomorrow. A deadly encounter with a distressed woman on a New York subway pulls Jack Reacher into a case involving people with serious political power. The official Reacher trailer shows Alan Ritchson back in the familiar role: he asks direct questions, notices what other people miss, and uses force when the people behind the case refuse to stop.
The first three episodes arrive together on August 12. One episode follows each Wednesday until the finale on September 16. Prime Video has already renewed the main series for Season 5, so the new spinoff is an expansion of Reacher's world rather than a replacement for Alan Ritchson's show.
Neagley begins after Frances learns that someone important from her past died in a suspicious accident. She is now a private investigator in Chicago and follows the case using the skills she learned in the Army's 110th Special Investigations Unit. Alan Ritchson guest stars, but the series belongs to Maria Sten and its new supporting cast.
Prime Video's official Neagley teaser shows her handling fights and the investigation without Reacher directing every move. Greyston Holt, Adeline Rudolph, Jasper Jones, Matthew Del Negro, and Damon Herriman join the cast. The complete season arrives at once, so viewers will not have to wait through another weekly mystery.
Can Neagley Carry a Show Without Reacher?
Neagley already has an advantage many spinoff leads do not: Reacher viewers know her, and Maria Sten has had time to make the character more than a helper who appears when Jack needs backup. She is calm, organized, and comfortable working inside systems that Reacher usually avoids. Those differences can support a separate series.
The trailer still has to convince people that Neagley's case and supporting characters are worth eight episodes. A guest appearance from Reacher can help the launch, but it cannot be the only reason to keep watching. The story needs to show how Frances investigates, what she risks when the case becomes personal, and how she behaves when Jack is not the person making the final decision.
Releasing the full spinoff after the Reacher finale gives Neagley the largest audience Prime Video can hand it. It also creates a clear comparison. Fans will move from a show built around Jack Reacher into one led by a character who knows his methods but does not live like him.
The schedule is easy to follow: Reacher starts August 12, continues weekly, and ends September 16. Neagley releases its full first season on September 16. Viewers will soon decide whether that day feels like an extra Reacher event or the start of a series that can stand on its own.
