Overgeared begins its fastest Japanese stream on Prime Video on September 27 at 11:30 p.m. JST. The television broadcast follows on October 2 at 11:30 p.m. JST on TOKYO MX and BS11. Crunchyroll also says the anime is coming to its service in October, but it has not posted an exact weekly release time.
The September 13 update arrived with a third trailer, a new key visual, and two more cast additions. Yūki Murata voices Irene, while Yurika Hirayama voices Isabel.

What does the third trailer show?
The new video moves between Shin Youngwoo’s difficult real life and his climb inside the VR game Satisfy. As Grid, he fights in armor, meets other players, and begins drawing attention with equipment he can build himself. The later scenes bring in larger battles, magic, and more of the people who will shape his progress.
The trailer also gives the first preview of the ending theme, “Ray of Emotion,” by TAO. The opening is “SATISFY” by Re:name.
Who are Irene and Isabel?
Irene is the daughter of Earl Steim, the lord of Winston. She takes her duty to the city seriously and wants to protect its people from the Yatan Church. Yūki Murata joins the cast as her voice.
Isabel is one of the three Daughters of Rebecca and carries the sacred spear Lifael. Her role brings a powerful religious faction into Grid’s story. Yurika Hirayama voices her.
What is Overgeared about?
Shin Youngwoo is buried in debt and has little success in or out of Satisfy. A difficult quest leads him to a rare book that changes his character Grid into Pagma’s Successor, a legendary blacksmith class. The change resets his progress, but it also gives him the ability to create equipment other players cannot easily find.
Grid starts chasing money and recognition through those items. His plans get bigger as his name spreads through Satisfy and stronger players, guilds, and factions take an interest in him.
Who is making the anime?
Ayako Kōno directs Overgeared at J.C.STAFF. Kenta Ihara handles series composition, Ryosuke Tanigawa designs the characters, and Yoshiaki Fujisawa composes the music. EGG FIRM produces the series.
