Nobody Wants This Season 3 is moving Joanne and Noah into the same home. The first trailer shows the couple unpacking, sharing routines, and trying to make a more permanent life together when the Netflix comedy returns October 22.

The creative team has said it did not want to invent another breakup just to restart the same romance. The question has shifted from “will they?” to “how do they make this work?”

How does Joanne’s conversion affect Season 3?

Joanne continues exploring conversion to Judaism under Rabbi Eden, played by Sarah Silverman. Noah’s mother, Bina, even calls Joanne a “rebbetzin,” the term traditionally used for a rabbi’s wife.

Andrew Rannells joins as Sebastien, a classmate who brings fresh gossip into Joanne’s conversion group. The trailer does not show whether he becomes a friend, a rival, or both.

What is happening with Morgan and Sasha?

Sasha and Esther are separated when the season begins. That gives the show room to revisit the tension between Sasha and Morgan without pretending their earlier connection disappeared.

The trailer stops short of confirming a romance. Morgan is still Joanne’s sister and podcast partner, and Sasha is dealing with the end of his marriage. Their scenes are likely to create the season’s loudest fan debate.

All 10 episodes premiere on Netflix on October 22. Kristen Bell, Adam Brody, Justine Lupe, and Timothy Simons return, with Silverman and Rannells among the new additions.

Season 3 is not resetting Joanne and Noah. It is putting them under the same roof and letting the problems come from choices they make together.
