The Yowaki MAX anime now has a Japanese premiere date: October 4, 2026. The new announcement includes the second trailer, a new key visual, three added cast members, and the opening and ending theme songs.
Its full title is Yowaki MAX Reijo Nano ni, Ratsuwan Konyakusha-sama no Kake ni Notte Shimatta, translated as Even Though I’m a Super Timid Noble Girl, I Accepted the Bet from My Cunning Fiancé. It follows Pia, a timid noble girl trying to end her engagement.
When does Yowaki MAX premiere?
Yowaki MAX starts in Japan on October 4, 2026. The Japanese schedule includes television broadcasts and same-day streaming through services such as d Anime Store, Hulu, U-NEXT, and Anime Hodai. The announcement does not give an international release date or confirm an English-language platform.

What is Yowaki MAX about?
A paleontology student is reincarnated as Pia, a minor villainess in Caroline and the Rainbow Magic Sweets, a romance game. Knowing that Pia is destined to be banished, she tries to change her future by ending her engagement to Rufus Stan, the prime minister’s son.
Rufus refuses to break up. Instead, he offers a bet: if he betrays Pia before she graduates, he will give her 100 million gold and a territory of her own. Pia wants to escape the game’s plot, but Rufus wants to stay engaged.
Who joins the cast?
Haruka Shiraishi joins the cast as Amelia Keith, Shogo Sakata as Philip, and Shoya Ishige as Mike. All three characters appear in Caroline and the Rainbow Magic Sweets, the game Pia remembers from her previous life.
Miku Ito voices Pia, with Ryota Osaka as Rufus. The previously announced cast also includes Rina Hidaka as Caroline Ramsey, Sora Amamiya as Erin White, Haruki Ishiya as Henry Cox, and Shizuka Ishigami as the younger Rufus.
What songs are in the new trailer?
Konomi Suzuki performs the opening theme, “Tsuyoki MAX Sengen,” while Miku Ito performs the ending theme, “Yoake Made ni.” Suzuki’s song will be released on digital platforms October 5, one day after the anime begins. Ito’s song will appear on her upcoming fifth album, 39rpm, on October 7.
Miku Ito has two roles in the anime: she voices Pia and sings the ending theme. Konomi Suzuki performs the opening song.
What does the second trailer show?
The second trailer introduces the added characters and previews both theme songs. It also shows Pia and Rufus together at the palace and in ballroom scenes.

Who is making the anime?
Jumondou is animating the series, with Nobuaki Nakanishi directing. Hiroko Fukada oversees the scripts, Hyun Sik Choi designs the characters, and Moe Hyuga and Natsuki Hamada compose the music.
The anime adapts Hiro Oda’s light novels, which were published by KADOKAWA’s B’s Log Bunko imprint from 2020 through 2024 across seven volumes. Tsubasa.v provided the original illustrations. The series also has a manga adaptation, but the October show is based on the light-novel story.
