Jujutsu Kaisen Season 4 has its first major update since the June teaser. On the first day of JuJu Fes 2026 in Japan, the official anime site revealed a new super teaser visual for The Culling Game Part 2, the season’s official title. Ryomen Sukuna fills the artwork, emerging from dark water and reaching toward the viewer.
The image is a strong mood setter, but it does not come with a release date or a new episode count. It gives fans a new look at the next part of the Culling Game and one clear message: Sukuna is still at the center of the danger.
Sukuna takes over the new visual
Sukuna is shown in close-up, half-submerged in darkness, with one hand stretching out of the frame. The official post describes his sharp gaze and the water surrounding him. The visual also carries his line, “Do you remember? I told you you’d see something interesting.”
That line comes from Sukuna’s earlier promise in the anime, so the artwork is not trying to introduce a new character or setting. It is pointing back to a threat viewers already know. The choice also keeps the season’s first new promotion focused on the villain rather than on a full cast lineup.
The Culling Game is entering a new phase
The latest announcement also adds a short story setup for The Culling Game Part 2. The battle royale created by Kenjaku is moving into another stage, with several groups pursuing separate goals instead of fighting in one place.
The new outline places Hakari and Panda in Tokyo’s Second Barrier as they search for Shion, a player holding 100 points. Maki has destroyed the Zenin family and is heading somewhere new, while Choso and Yuki Tsukumo protect Tengen at the Kosei Palace. Sukuna, meanwhile, is preparing his own move. Those details come from the newly published season setup, not from the visual itself.
That split structure is a useful clue about the next episodes. Season 4 is not returning to a single hero-versus-villain route. The Culling Game is spreading its characters across different locations, alliances, and problems, with Sukuna’s plan hanging over all of them.
There is still no release date
The official post does not announce when Season 4 will premiere. It also does not confirm the episode count, a streaming rollout, or a new full trailer. The season is still officially described as in production.
The last major video update arrived on June 19. That teaser showed fights involving Kinji Hakari and Hajime Kashimo, Maki Zenin, Choso, Yuki, Yuji Itadori, and Megumi Fushiguro. It also announced Takeru Sato as director after his work as assistant director on The Culling Game Part 1. The new visual adds atmosphere, but it does not replace the information fans are still waiting for.

JuJu Fes 2026 is the anime’s fifth-anniversary finale, so the event was an obvious place for a new Season 4 update.
