San Diego Comic-Con's first full day focused on games, animation, streaming series, and horror. Thursday's main announcements included a new Marvel's Wolverine story trailer, the first Avatar: Seven Havens teaser, a full Resident Evil trailer, and new footage from several upcoming projects.
This is the short version for anyone who missed the panels and does not want to search through a full day of live updates.
Marvel's Wolverine Got a New Story Trailer
Insomniac used its Hall H panel to show more of Logan's story before Marvel's Wolverine releases on September 15 for PlayStation 5. The trailer opens with Logan confronting Jean Grey and confirms The Hand as an enemy faction. Lady Deathstrike also appears as one of the game's major villains.
The panel included new art of Wolverine fighting The Hand and a costume exchange with Marvel Tokon: Fighting Souls. Wolverine's Tokon suit will be unlockable through normal progress in Marvel's Wolverine, while the Battle Reborn suit will be added to Tokon for free on September 1.
Insomniac also released a digital prequel comic through Marvel Unlimited. It follows Logan and Team X before the game and gives players more background without making the comic required reading.

Avatar: Seven Havens Showed Its First Trailer
The Avatar panel gave fans the first trailer for Avatar: Seven Havens, the next animated series set after The Legend of Korra. The story follows a young Earthbender who learns that she is the new Avatar in a damaged world where people see the Avatar as a threat instead of a hero.
She is hunted by human and spirit enemies and must work with her long-lost twin to protect the remaining Seven Havens. Nickelodeon ordered 26 episodes divided into two 13-episode books. The series premieres on Paramount+ on October 9.
The same panel also covered Avatar Aang: The Last Airbender, the animated film about the original group as adults. It premieres on Paramount+ on July 25.

Resident Evil Released Its Full Trailer
Sony released the full trailer for Zach Cregger's Resident Evil movie during the first day of Comic-Con. The film uses an original character and story inside the Resident Evil universe instead of adapting Leon, Jill, or another game protagonist.
Austin Abrams plays a hospital courier who becomes trapped in a zombie outbreak. The trailer shows a snowy setting, a police-car crash, and a frantic first encounter with an infected person. The movie opens in theaters on September 18.

Brad Bird Showed Ray Gunn and Discussed Incredibles 3
Brad Bird showed the first seven minutes of Ray Gunn to the Comic-Con audience. The animated film stars Sam Rockwell as a private investigator in a retro-futuristic city and Scarlett Johansson as singer Venus Nova. Ray Gunn premieres on Netflix on December 18.
Bird also confirmed that Peter Sohn is directing Incredibles 3. Bird remains involved as a co-writer and producer, but he did not reveal story details or a release date.
Percy Jackson Season 3 Showed New Footage
The Percy Jackson and the Olympians cast brought two Season 3 clips to Hall H. The new season adapts The Titan's Curse, the third book in Rick Riordan's series, and moves the Disney+ show beyond the material covered by the two older Percy Jackson movies.
One clip included Percy discussing the risk of sacrificing himself and his friends. Season 3 premieres on Disney+ on November 20.
Thursday gave fans several trailers and firm release dates without requiring a major Marvel Studios presentation. Comic-Con continues through Sunday, with the larger Marvel Studios panel scheduled for Saturday.
