Ohashi’s route started in junior high
Ohashi’s memory reaches further back. She recalls getting into BLEACH while she was in junior high, including a shopping trip with her father when she bought a towel featuring Tōshirō Hitsugaya. She read the manga through volume 28, then kept pace with the anime’s Arrancar arc by renting episodes every week at Tsutaya.
Ohashi also shares a detail her family still remembers: she would shout “Bankai!” in her sleep. It is a small, affectionate recollection of a series that had become part of her everyday life.
Ohashi says BLEACH also helped inspire her to become a voice actor, and that joining the cast feels like a treasure to her. This is more than a nostalgic favorite: it is a series she associates with choosing her profession, now one she gets to return to in a new role.
