YOUTH

YOUTH is an eight-episode HBO comedy created by, written by, executive produced by, and starring Sharon Horgan. Horgan plays Alex, a 50-year-old divorced London literary agent looking for love and a fuller life while caring for her ailing parents and parenting her teenage son Ruari. Her best friend Sam is also her boss, while Patrick remains the romantic prospect she cannot easily dismiss. The principal cast includes Sharon Horgan as Alex, Rupert Friend as Patrick, Sharlene Whyte as Sam, Aran Murphy as Ruari, and Robbie Gee as Frank. Merman produces the series. Faye Dorn, Jim Kleverweis, and director Dawn Shadforth executive produce alongside Horgan. YOUTH premieres with two episodes on September 20, 2026 at 10 p.m. ET/PT on HBO and will be available on HBO Max. Six weekly Sunday episodes follow, with the Season 1 finale scheduled for November 1.
