Overview

Bloom arrives at Alfea with much to learn about both magic and herself. Stella helps introduce her to the world beyond Earth, and Flora, Musa, and Tecna become her friends at school. Aisha joins the group in season 2. The six fairies develop different strengths as their classes give way to larger adventures. Created by Iginio Straffi and produced by Rainbow, the original Winx Club began in 2004. Bloom’s Dragon Flame and the search for her origins are central to the early story. The Trix—Icy, Darcy, and Stormy—bring trouble from Cloud Tower, while the Specialists at Red Fountain become allies and romantic interests. Transformations change more than the fairies’ clothes. As the series continues, forms such as Charmix and Enchantix mark changes in what they can do and the challenges they have faced. Follow the seasons in order to see how those abilities are earned instead of starting with a transformation compilation. English releases can use different voices, episode names, and character names. Aisha is called Layla in some versions. The original animated show is also separate from the live-action Fate: The Winx Saga and the newer The Magic Is Back, so check the full series title when choosing an episode.
