Stranger Things: Tales From ’85

Stranger Things: Tales From ’85 is an animated series set in the Stranger Things universe and streaming on Netflix. It premiered on April 23, 2026 and had two seasons available by September 2026. Set in winter 1985, the show follows Eleven, Mike, Dustin, Max, Lucas, Will and new friend Nikki as they investigate paranormal threats around Hawkins. They call their group the Hawkins Investigators Club, or HIC. Season 1 brought them into conflict with the Horde Queen. Season 2 premiered September 17, 2026 and follows the club as iridescent flowers, ghostly apparitions and hate sprites appear around town ahead of Valentine’s Day. Eric Robles is the showrunner. The animated characters have a distinct voice cast: Brooklyn Davey Norstedt voices Eleven, Luca Diaz voices Mike, Braxton Quinney voices Dustin, Jolie Hoang-Rappaport voices Max, Elisha “EJ” Williams voices Lucas, Benjamin Plessala voices Will and Odessa A’zion voices Nikki. The series is separate from the live-action show rather than an additional live-action season. Both seasons are on Netflix; viewers should check their local catalog for availability.
