Saturday Night Live is NBC’s weekly live sketch-comedy show from New York. Each new episode has a guest host, a musical guest, comedy sketches and Weekend Update. The cast and hosts change over time, so one episode can look very different from the next. The series began on October 11, 1975, with George Carlin hosting its first episode. Season 52 began September 26, 2026. New York Knicks guard Jalen Brunson hosted the premiere, and KATSEYE was the musical guest. Brunson’s teammates joined his opening monologue. Official clips from the night include North High, Office MVP, Old Friend and Dream Academy. NBC announced Dakota Johnson and Turnstile for the October 3 episode, followed by Shane Gillis and Rosalía on October 10 and Inde Navarrette and Gracie Abrams on October 31. Those are announced future broadcasts, not episodes already available. In the United States, Saturday Night Live airs on NBC.
