Ride or Die

Ride or Die is an eight-episode action comedy starring Octavia Spencer and Hannah Waddingham. Spencer plays Debbie, whose ordinary life is overturned when she learns that her lifelong friend Judith, played by Waddingham, has been hiding a career as an international assassin. The discovery sends the women on the run across Europe, where their friendship must survive armed enemies, old secrets and the fact that Debbie no longer knows how much of Judith’s life was real. Ed Skrein, Calam Lynch, Savannah Steyn, Jamie Parker, Sylvia Hoeks and Bill Nighy are part of the supporting cast. Peyton Reed, DeMane Davis, Allison Liddi-Brown and Lauren Wolkstein directed episodes. Spencer and Waddingham are executive producers. Paramount Television Studios and Amazon MGM Studios produced the series. All eight episodes premiered on Prime Video on July 15, 2026, in more than 240 countries and territories. Prime Video canceled the series after one season. Paramount Television is shopping it to other services, but no second season has been ordered.
