My Sad Dead, also called Mis muertos tristes, is a four-episode Argentine supernatural drama directed by Pablo Larraín. Mercedes Morán plays Ema, a recently retired doctor who sees and hears the dead. She is grieving her mother when her niece Julie arrives. Julie has a similar ability, and events around their family begin to affect the whole neighborhood. The series draws on stories by Argentine writer Mariana Enriquez, including Mis muertos tristes and Julie. Dolores Fonzi plays Julie. Alejandra Flechner and Carolina Álvarez are also among the main cast. The story is set in the Buenos Aires area and follows a family trying to deal with the dead becoming part of everyday life. It is a fictional drama, not a documentary or a true-crime show. Netflix released the complete four-episode limited series on September 24, 2026. Its public US title page lists all four episodes now.
