Overview

Fading Grandeur, titled Grande de España in Spanish, is a six-episode Netflix comedy-drama from Spain. Antonio de la Torre plays Don Leandro, a marquis who dreams of being named a Grandee of Spain even as his finances crumble. To avoid disaster, he decides to sell the family mansion in Madrid. Alexandra Jiménez plays Sofía Carrington, a wealthy businesswoman who takes an interest in the property. Negotiations and flirtation turn complicated as each discovers the other is not quite what they seemed. The official trailer sets up the sale without revealing the hidden truths or the result. Álvaro Fernández-Armero and Juan Cavestany created, wrote and directed the series and serve as executive producers alongside Alicia Yubero. Their company Cuidado con el perro produces it as its first Netflix series. The cast also includes Enric Benavent, Fernando Andina, Teresa Rabal, Mercedes Sampietro and Celia de Molina. Netflix announced a global premiere on October 23, 2026, along with first-look stills. An episode count is confirmed, but a separate weekly rollout has not been announced; Netflix describes the release as a global premiere.
