A gifted teenage rower becomes coxswain of an elite prep school’s all-boys crew after a family scandal forces her to start over.
Crew Girl is an eight-episode Netflix teen drama from showrunner Vivian Lin. Miku Martineau plays Teagan Tao, a competitive single sculler who moves with her mother Ella to Eagles Cove after the FBI raids their home and her father disappears. Easton Prep has no girls’ rowing team, so Teagan takes the coxswain seat on its difficult boys’ varsity crew. Sam Braun plays Josh Regis, the team’s privileged captain, and Kyle Clark plays Cam Dillinger, a talented local rower on financial aid. Jessica Paré plays Ella Tao and Thomas Cadrot plays Coach Matt Hayden. The season combines rowing competition, family fallout and a love triangle as Easton tries to return to the Haverford Cup podium. All eight episodes began streaming on Netflix on September 10, 2026. The official Netflix title page lists episode runtimes from 40 to 55 minutes. Netflix has not announced a second season in the official sources checked September 11, 2026; cast comments about possible future stories are not renewal confirmation.
