Chumbak

Chumbak is a Hindi Netflix ensemble comedy created by Aatish Kapadia and Jamnadas “JD” Majethia. The series follows the Merchant, Kejriwal, Khanna, Taraporewala and Oberoi families, who live side by side in row houses in fictional Chumbak Colony in Chembur, Mumbai. Their marriages, children, work, aging parents and private arguments repeatedly draw in the entire neighborhood. Neena Gupta and Deven Bhojani play Rajni and Kuku Merchant. Manasi Parekh and Sumeet Vyas play Priyanka and Aditya Khanna; Sumeet Raghavan and Sandeepa Dhar play Dharmendra and Kiran Kejriwal; Amyra Dastur, Anant Vijay Joshi and Delnaaz Irani play Hutoxi, Freddy and Gulshan Taraporewala; and Helly Shah and Arjun Bijlani play Twinkle and Micky Oberoi. Atul Kumar, Priyal Gupta, Vidhaan Sharma and Vidvaan Sharma also have named family roles. The series premiered September 10, 2026. Netflix labels Season 1 as 16 episodes, while the checked public India page exposes eight numbered summaries with 23-to-28-minute runtimes. A second season, the exact presentation of episodes 9 through 16 and universal language or rating details remain unannounced.
