At eighteen, Lu Zhaoxi unexpectedly arrives twelve years in the future. Her family home lies in ruins, and the deaths of her relatives remain a mystery. Using another person’s body, she searches for answers amid court and palace intrigues. Regent Tu Yin carries memories and attachments stretching across the same twelve years, while a noble consort in the palace seems bound to Lu Zhaoxi’s fate. iQIYI announced Bai Lu as Lu Zhaoxi / Yan Chaochao and Chen Zheyuan as Tu Yin on September 23, 2026. Its Chinese title page lists Chao Yu Jie in the 2027 slate and describes it as a costume romance. A specific premiere date, episode schedule and territory-by-territory streaming plan have not been announced.
