Black Doves follows Helen Webb, a covert operative embedded in her husband’s political life, and Sam, the assassin who helps her navigate a dangerous double life. The first season is available on Netflix. Season 2, scheduled to premiere November 5, 2026, sees Helen still passing government secrets to the Black Doves as Wallace moves toward the prime minister’s office. Keira Knightley and Ben Whishaw return, Sarah Lancashire plays Mrs Reed, and Ambika Mod joins as Laila. Joe Barton created the series. The second season is not yet available to watch.
