Untold Mr. T: I Pity The Fool

Untold Mr. T: I Pity The Fool is a 2026 Netflix sports documentary about Laurence Tureaud, better known as Mr. T. The film covers his childhood in Chicago, the meaning of his name and the career route that led to Rocky III, The A-Team and wrestling. Mr. T appears in the documentary and tells parts of the story directly. Before release, he publicly criticized the finished film’s emphasis and said it did not give enough time to his faith, military service and community work. Scott Weintrob directed the film. Netflix scheduled it for September 8, 2026 as the third standalone title in a new Untold group following documentaries about Vince Young and Rachael “Raygun” Gunn.
